Hi. What do you do?

Internet Entrepreneur | Author | Blogger | Mentor

What are some of the most amazing things about your city?

Hong Kong is a mecca for food. Walk down almost any street, or look up one floor and within 10 metres you have another place to eat from $5 a meal all the way up to $500 a meal.

The Skyline looking from Kowloon side to Hong Kong Island at night is truly one of the top views in the world. Head to the Intercontinental Hotel for a drink and soak in the views if you want luxury or take a drink with you and watch the nightly laser show from the shoreline. For business, see printing japan.

Where would you go on a lonely Wednesday evening?

The boardwalk on the foreshore at Kowloon side has live entertainment from local entertainers and is always a hive of activity as people swarm to get a selfie looking out over the Hong Kong Island skyline of glittering lights on all the high-rise buildings.

Where are the best places to go when the weather is horrible?!

Get the MTR to Central and you are in shopping heaven. Take in a movie or enjoy a meal with magnificent water views.

What’s the most romantic restaurant in this city and WHY?

Caprice at the Four Seasons Hotel on Hong Kong Island. Magnificent ambience and decor, chefs galore to attend to your every whim, service they makes you feel like you’re the most valued customer in the restaurant. It’s not cheap but it’s an experience you will treasure.

What are your best money saving tips?

Get into the side streets and check out the great eating places that are a fraction of the price of the tourist strips. Look for where the locals gather to eat. Get a Octopus Card to save on the cost of travel on the Subway, Ferries, Buses and Trams. Go to the local markets and haggle. Drive a hard bargain and you will be surprised how often you will get a VERY low price.

What are your goals?

My passion is travel and teaching people how to live a life like it’s one long vacation. I’ve visited more than 40 countries and lived on 4 continents but I feel my travel story has only just begun. The more places I see the more I want to see more. Our new business Travel and Cash is now launching aimed at providing a practical way for people to enjoy more travel and have the cash to do so!

What or WHO would help you hit your goals?

I’d love to build alliances with people who founded and run companies like Virgin, AirBnB, HomeAway, etc who continue to revolutionise the way we think about travel. They continue to evolve and challenge the norms.

Hi. What do you do?

Founder of Vivier Group

What are some of the most amazing things about your city?

Cosmopolitan Durban, South Africa’s third-largest city (known as eThekweni in Zulu), is sometimes unfairly passed over for her ‘cooler’ Capetonian cousin. But this isn’t fair; there’s a lot more to fun-loving Durbs (as she’s affectionately known) than meets the eye.

The city had a major makeover leading up to the 2010 World Cup, with a sleek new stadium and a revamped waterfront. The renewal of the waterfront area and the sweeping away of the old sleaze has given municipal authorities new confidence and ambition – there are plans to extend the waterfront promenade right down the south coast.

Durban’s downtown area – a buzzing, gritty grid comprising grandiose colonial buildings and fascinating art deco architecture – throbs to a distinctly African beat (but loses its shimmer when the sun goes down). The beachfront remains a daytime locus for beach-lovers.

Home to the largest concentration of people of Indian descent outside of India, Durban also boasts an unmistakeably Asian feel, with the marketplaces and streets of the Indian area replete with the sights, sounds and scents of the subcontinent. For work see Japan printing.

Where would you go on a lonely Wednesday evening?

This brand-new bar attached to Spiga D’oro is an excellent spot for a relaxing drink, and it could be the start of something completely new in the Durban nightlife scene. It’s cosy and intimate and has a long bar featuring Cape Town–brewed beer on tap

Where are the best places to go when the weather is horrible?!

Under City Hall’s impressive dome is this gallery with a small but interesting collection of South African artworks, including paintings, mixed media and ceramics. It also has temporary and rotating exhibitions.

What’s the most romantic restaurant in this city and WHY?

Roma Revolving Restaurant – The only genuine revolving restaurant in the southern hemisphere, boasting unique features of a revolving window and floor area overlooking Durban with excellent Sea and Bay views. Delicacies include continental dishes, seafood and fresh game dishes

Hi. What do you do?

I am a writer of nuclear fiction novels of survival – “The Nuclear Catastrophe” and its sequel,
“#Betrayal” plus the recently released “Nuclear Road Trip-Onward to Destruction”.
These are all available through
Amazon.com

What are some of the most amazing things about your city?

Easy to get around in without huge traffic problems, great high end restaurants, lovely hotels in all price ranges, Civic Arts Center with plays, etc. Many golf courses and 15 minutes to the beach. Shopping, shopping, shopping.

Where would you go on a lonely Wednesday evening?

Happy Hour at one of the local restaurants – Paul Martin’s, 805, The Grill, or Bellini’s

Where are the best places to go when the weather is horrible?!

Luxury Cineopolis where the movie seats recline and feet rests come up. Waiters serve you drinks and food at your seat. Great way to watch a movie.
The Thousand Oaks Mall is indoors and has all the major stores for shopping.

What’s the most romantic restaurant in this city and WHY?

Lobby Lounge at the 4 Seasons Hotel. The interior decoration is SPECTACULAR, has a lovely view, and the tables are set well apart so you have your own privacy. The food is unusual and quite tasty. Very pricey though and not always open.

What are your best money saving tips?

Stay in one of the hotels on the outskirts of the city – try Agoura Hills. In the city there are lots of well priced Happy Hours that have discount drinks and bar menus – such as Bellini’s and Cisco’s. There are some AirB&B rentals close to the main town.

What are your goals?

To increase the publics’ Nuclear Awareness and environmental knowledge through my writing. We can either ignore the scientists’ prediction of extinction in the next twenty years or we can take a stand to make sure this gets fixed!

What or WHO would help you hit your goals?

Readers who become educated through my nuclear stories and interact with me through twitter and other social media. I am about to start a petition on my website asking that the world come together to contain the pollution from Fukushima, Japan.

Why Do People Need Your Business?

These novels are meant to be entertaining and enlightening. Nuclear power plants have been linked to nuclear pollution – some scientists think we will be an extinct society in TWENTY years if we do not get the pollution such as that emitting from Fukushima, Japan under control.
