Let’s meet and follow friend each other!

Hi. What do you do?

I’m a working actor!

What are some of the most amazing things about your city?

I love being able to go from the beach, to the desert, to forests, to snow capped mountains all in about an hour from central Los Angeles. It’s mosaic of topographies. I also love it’s entertainment history. I came here to act in the tradition of my acting forefathers before me. Hollywoodland is where movie magic started and has thrived into an international business. I’ve been in Los Angeles for a little more than ten years and I still get feel the magic when I’m riding my motorcycle down Hollywood Blvd and looking at all the tourist taking pics of the stars on the walk of fame.

Where would you go on a lonely Wednesday evening?

I’d go up high. The Griffith Observatory gives you an amazing panoramic view of Los Angeles at night. You can see as all the way to the Pacific ocean on a clear day. Plus the planetarium is there for perusing of all our cosmos’ wonders.

Where are the best places to go when the weather is horrible?!

Weather is never horrible. Sorry, east coast. Sunshine is our motto.

What’s the most romantic restaurant in this city and WHY?

There’s a little place in a quaint neighborhood reminiscent of 1950’s Americana called Sierra Madre a little east of LA proper. It’s called Wistaria. This gastropub sits at the foot of Mount Wilson and has serious romantic ambvience.

What are your best money saving tips?

Ride a motorcycle to reduce your gas bill.

What are your goals?

Currently I’m a working actor. I’ve worked with Nicolas Cage and Katy Bates. My next step is to become a household name.

What or WHO would help you hit your goals?

Growing my audience. I’ll be working on The Young and The Restless for a few episodes starting May 6th where I play a Caribbean cop. I’m especially proud of this role as it’s the first time I get to professionally use an accent from my West Indian heritage as I’m from Trinidad and Tobago.

Hi. What do you do?

We design and manufacture activewear for men and women locally in Los Angeles. We focus on women of all sizes so we can provide a product that looks good on all body types, not just the typical sample size!

What are some of the most amazing things about your city?

There are so many different things to do in LA. You can go to the beach, the mountains and the desert all in one day! Everything is so close. The shopping is great. It is one of the biggest fitness capitals in the world! Everyone works out, it’s the culture. Outdoor hiking is great, cycling, and yoga are our favorites!

Where would you go on a lonely Wednesday evening?

On a Wednesday evening I would take a stroll down the street to our favorite local sushi fashion restaurant, Yatai, and then do a little shopping along Melrose. After that, I would hit up the best ice cream in LA in Parchment village at Salt & Straw.

Where are the best places to go when the weather is horrible?!

Movie theaters! Everything in LA is outdoors, so when it’s bad weather, people stay home and light a fire or go to the movies or go to the gym.

What’s the most romantic restaurant in this city and WHY?

Yamashiro! Great sushi and great view of the city! Such a great ambiance and great people! Must see!

Hi. What do you do?

Comedian, Vlogger, Entrepreneur

Where would you go on a lonely Wednesday evening?

Hmmm…What can be better than a glass of wine in Malibu? Traffic is probably light, so I’d head to the Rosenthal: The Malibu Estates Tasting Room for a glass/bottle of wine, order from a neighboring restaurant and sip/eat in their backyard picnic area. Like this: http://www.kristinahughes.com/view-appisodes/2014/10/13/rosenthal-the-malibu-estates-tasting-room

Where are the best places to go when the weather is horrible?!

For sure a comedy club! I perform often and post upcoming gigs at http://www.FancyComedy.com. Get away from the rain and warm yourself up with some laughs!

What’s the most romantic restaurant in this city and WHY?

Cafe Verona is a little restaurant in the La Brea Corridor. You will fall in love with a homemade #pasta and creamy walnut truffle oil sauce —so fancy!! Ravioli stuffed with squash will make you want to kiss the cook! That would be Paolo Dessena. http://www.kristinahughes.com/view-appisodes/2014/11/23/cafe-verona It’s a casual place with a little water running. You won’t feel like you are in Los Angeles.

What are your best money saving tips?

Plan a day with a great hike, pack a picnic, then stop by a winery and relax and revel in the beauty of the hills, the breeze, the sunsets. Here’s my suggestion: Don’t fly to Napa! Don’t drive to Paso!

Agua Dulce in the Sierra Pelona Valley has something for you! http://www.kristinahughes.com/view-appisodes/2014/11/26/agua-dulce-winery

What are your goals?

Expanding my FancyFeaster VLog and my FancyComedy Show!
Life is too short not to spoil ourselves. This can be done with trying new things rather than spending a lot of money. Hence FancyFeaster.
We also need more female comedians. My bold comedy perspective in FancyComedy is doing just that.

What or WHO would help you hit your goals?

I’m researching and interviewing with perspective agents/managers/bookers and producers.

I’d like to do some shorter sets for Comedy Central and other networks this year to expand my reach beyond the greater Los Angeles area.

Why Do People Need Your Business?

My Fancy Comedy provides laughter with a side on snark. We just don’t laugh enough.

My FancyFeaster Vlog profiles something unique and Fancy for consumers to appreciate. Business owners love this.
