What’s the cheapest way to enjoy this city at night?

The cheapest way to enjoy Penang at night would be a beer from the local 7/11 and sitting on Batu Ferringhi beach and watching the sunset. You could also buy some cheap Malaysian food items from a stall and make it a picnic.

What’s your favorite restaurant here? What’s so special about it?

Sri Ananda Bahwan in Tangung Bungah. I love Indian food and this is seriously the best you will find anywhere. It’s delicious.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a warm Sunday morning in this city?

Go for a walk on the beach or sit with the locals and have a cheap egg roti for breakfast. Yummy!

What were some of the hidden gems in that city? Why?

Youth Park is just awesome. Its a massive jungle clad area with free pools, playgrounds, fitness equipment and hikes set into the hillside. It’s beautiful and relatively cool.

Long Beach Cafe is a night hawker market with some great food and a wide range of options.
