Ryan Biddulph Covers Bali

What’s the cheapest way to enjoy this city at night?

What’s your favorite thing to do on a warm Sunday morning in this city?

Walking on Pandawa Beach is about the best thing to do on a Sunday morning.

Taking the dogs for a walk through the jungle is another favorite Sunday morning activity. You can hear nature at its finest because we’re way off of the grid.

What were some of the hidden gems in that city? Why?

Hidden Beach by Jimbaran, for its stunning views.

We also enjoy living here in the hilly farm country of the Bukit. You get a taste of authentic Balinese living without all of the hustle and bustle associated with tourist centers like Kuta.

A $2.50 cent, nutritious, wholesome meal at a local warung can’t be beat!

Other than that, just rent a motorbike for less than 5 bucks a day and cruise around. Bali is best toured on 2 wheels, and motorbiking it is the easiest, cheapest way to see the real Bali.

What’s your favorite restaurant here? What’s so special about it?

Warung Warung in Jimbaran is my favorite restaurant for the quality of the food, the size of the portions and for its dirt cheap price.

The people are tremendously friendly and the food is always fresh, and quite healthy too. We love finding a good restaurant with vegetarian options anywhere in SE Asia. This is one of the better ones not only in Bali but throughout all of the countries we’ve visited in SE Asia.
