What’s the cheapest way to enjoy this city at night?
Almost everything in Kathmandu, Nepal is cheap in comparison to other developed countries. But, you can enjoy cheap Nepali food near UNESCO heritage side like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Lalitpur Durbar Square which will literally give you authentic Nepali taste. Thamel also has lots of cheap places and things you can indulge in.
What’s your favorite restaurant here? What’s so special about it?
My favorite restaurant here is Roadhouse Cafe. Even though we have world famous pizza hut in Kathmandu, I still love the thin crusted wood-fire pizza of RHC.
What’s your favorite thing to do on a warm Sunday morning in this city?
Traveling to Swayambhu, the Monkey Temple and sitting there looking at the monkeys, people and the city view would be my one of the favorite thing to do if not the only one.
What were some of the hidden gems in that city? Why?
The cultural heritage of Kathmandu is internationally renowned and among the most famous monuments of this city you have: the Durbar Squares of Hanuman Dhoka, Patan and Bhaktapur, the Buddhist stupas of Swayambhu and Bauddhanath and the Hindu temples of Pashupati and Changu Narayan.
